Ruud van Riel (1961) is an experienced hands-on manager on the Council of Executive Board level, as a financial specialist. After having worked thirteen years at a stock exchange listed company he currently puts his knowledge and knowhow at the disposal of other executive boards and management teams for 2 years now.

Ruud studied accountancy at the HEAO and the Royal Dutch Institute of Certified Registered Accountants (NIvRA). He received the title of Register Accountant (RA). He worked at several accountant offices where he gained experience during six years in the control - and consulting practices within national and international ventures. Then, Ruud became operational at the stock exchange listed company ‘Vilenzo International NV’ during thirteen years (active in design, production, purchase and sales of child, ladies, and men’s clothing, both in wholesale and retail). He functioned within the Executive Board for almost ten years, where he has build the bases for organizational and financial structures and communication lines within the total Vilenzo group. In this function he has been involved in leading several joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, disinvestment, company transfers (production companies), strategic reorientations, financial and organizational restructuring and reorganizations. Meanwhile, in line of this, he has fulfilled several tasks on consultancy and interim management basis.
